Designing an organisation structure to bring a new Strategic Plan to life

Helping a leadership team reshape their operating model and structure to support a new strategic direction.

As a result of a new strategy, the organisation sought to broaden the services offered and introduce a more commercial capability.  In addition to other changes, the leaders recognised a need to reshape the organisation and introduce new capabilities.

Levant was engaged to design new ways of working, a new organisation structure (3 levels) and a transition plan to enable the changes. Working directly with the Executive Leadership Team and CEO, Levant facilitated a co-design process to define a new value chain, establish clear responsibilities, and shape a structure to bring to life new ways of working. 

The project established new capabilities for the organisation (e.g. a Commercial & Customers function), re-aligned existing functions (e.g. Assets & Services, Operations), and consolidated strategic planning activities to drive a more aligned program of work.
